Terms of use

These terms cover the ChatGPT plugin “StayinDE Study Budget”. Last updated 8 October 2026.

The service

The plugin is free. It estimates living costs for studying in Germany from public prices and the answers you give. Provider: Chan Nam Ao, Johannisplatz 20, 04103 Leipzig, Deutschland.

Estimates, not advice

Prices change and your life will differ from any model. The board is a planning aid and does not give financial, legal, tax or visa advice. The amount you must show for a visa is set by the German mission or immigration office handling your case. Check our method page for each figure and its source.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded, to the extent the law allows.

Fair use

Don’t use the plugin to overload or attack the service. We may change or end the plugin at any time.

Law and contact

German law applies; mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence stays unaffected. Contact: team@stayinde.de.
